Battery maintenance: The battery is the core component of the electric boat and needs special attention. Use a suitable charger to avoid overcharging and over-discharging. Stop charging when it reaches 80%-90%, unless special circumstances require long-distance sailing. Keep the battery within a suitable temperature range to avoid high or low temperatures affecting battery performance and life. Regularly check the appearance and performance parameters of the battery to find and solve problems in a timely manner.
Motor maintenance: Keep the motor clean to prevent dust, water and debris from entering the motor. Clean the heat sink of the motor regularly to ensure good heat dissipation performance. Check the moving parts such as the bearings of the motor, add an appropriate amount of grease, and ensure that the fasteners such as the mounting bolts of the motor are not loose.
Daily inspection and maintenance: Regularly check the outer shell and glass of the electric boat and clean them with a mild detergent and soft cloth. Check whether the drive belt and gears are worn, lubricate the parts and replace the parts that need to be replaced. Check the hull structure to ensure there are no signs of cracks or leaks, and repair problems in time to prevent further damage.
Storage and protection: If the electric boat is not used for a long time, it is recommended to store it in a dry and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. In winter, the battery can be removed and stored in a warm and dry place to prevent freezing and cracking.
Other maintenance measures: Clean the electric boat regularly to keep it clean and beautiful, and reduce surface wear and scratches. Correct docking and appropriate cable tension are also very important to prevent the hull surface from being worn.
